Building Kiki’s T House has been an incredible journey, filled with challenges, creativity, and countless moments of inspiration. Looking back on the past few months, I’m proud of our progress—transitioning to a home-based business, finalizing our website for a January 2025 launch, and preparing for community events like the JASC Holiday Delight. A Fresh Start: Transitioning to a Home-Based Business
This month marks a meaningful personal milestone: transitioning from my studio to a home-based business. Downsizing and reimagining my workspace was challenging, but it feels like the right move for this new chapter. Simplifying my surroundings has helped me focus on what truly matters—connecting with you through Japanese tea, Zakka, and the stories behind them.
Designing the Heart of Kiki’s T House: Finalizing the Website
After months of brainstorming, designing, and refining, the Kiki’s T House website is finally starting to take shape! I’m thrilled to give you a sneak peek at what’s coming—curated Zakka collections, insights into tea culture, and so much more. With the official launch planned for January 1, 2025, it feels like we’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
Mark Your Calendar: The JASC Holiday Delight & Kodomo Matsuri
I’m excited to announce that Kiki’s T House will be part of this year’s Holiday Delight & Kodomo Matsuri at the Japanese American Service Committee (5700 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago) on December 14th, from 10:30 AM to 4 PM.
